Colonial Apothecary

Another day goes bye today helping my fellow neighbors as apothecary.Today I sold about 2 dimes of medicine, than last week. The native herbs I used took all yesterday, and half today. I’m a very respected man, most of the time. Anyway, I have counted how many medicines I have, about 132. The natives came to trade goods for some goods. I traded a sack of medicine for some natural herbs and berries. The english are sending ships with goods for our colony. I use the berries to mix in with the herbs to try to make a little sweeter but still keep the herbs in it. So far ,fair good amount of people are paying for the stores goods and etc. Well entry we will see how thy tomorrow goes.

Colonial Leader

A true leader he was for his Wampanoag Tribe

Celebrated with Pilgrims he did

Thanks he gave on that day of celebration

Serious he was to protect

He maintained peace

Peace he kept between tribes and the colonies

Made a treaty for Governor bradford colony and his own

50 years it lasted

Despite repeated encroachment

Him a rightful chief did best for what he could

That is Chief Massasoit
